Background Battles can be used to play up to 30 battles (or more with licenses and VIP level) in a row without the need for input, while being able to engage with other parts of the game while they are ongoing, or even being offline. To start Background Battles, select the button highlighted below after placing your ships.
Battle times
The rate at which these Background Battles complete is dependent on how fast you have been able to defeat the chosen battle in the past, and the objectives to unlock the different Background Battle times are the same for every battle, everywhere.
Boosters
To activate a Resource or Energy booster, use the "Select" shown below, and choose the booster from your inventory.
Note: 2 boosters of the same type can be used at the same time, but they must be of a different rarity.
Queuing Background Battles
To increase the number of Background Battles, tap the plus sign or drag the slider to your desired number. Once ready, tap "Engage." The total energy cost for all battles can be seen next to the plus sign.
Note: The number of Background Battles that can be queued can be increased with Bit License and/or Credit License, as well as VIP levels.
